	House League Year End Banquet There will be a year end banquet for all House League players on Saturday, April 10th. More details to follow.
	2010-2011 Coaching Applications Ajax Minor hockey is now accepting applications for rep teams. Applicants should fill out a form available on our website and drop it in the mailbox, outside the hockey office, in a sealed envelope to the attention of the “Director of Coaching” by midnight February 7,2010. The association reserves the right to accept applications after this date where no one applied for a team or where no suitable coach applied.

	2009-2010 Regular Season Well, the regular season for most teams has come to end and has seen an improvement over last year’s results. This year we saw seven more teams than last year move into the top four of their division bringing the total to 19 out of 28 teams. I would like to congratulate our two International Silver Stick champions the Midget AE and Juvenile teams. There is still a lot of work to be done with Player Development Programs for rep teams but our House League Development on Friday nights has been a great success this year. The introduction to Body Checking Program that was introduced this year was very well received and more sessions are planned for March in order to help prepare for tryouts. The Rostered Select Program has been a great success this year and is another building block in development for our Association. The Board of Directors is currently working on changes to the tryout process and they will be posted as soon as they are finalized. Let’s get out and support our teams in the playoffs and hope we can come away with some championships! Brian Desroches Director of Coaching

	Food Drive Thank You The Salvation Army in Ajax/Pickering would like to extend a warm thank you to all those who contributed to the food and toy drive. It was a great success and without you we wouldn''t have been able to help families in our community. There was a great increase in meeting the needs of families this year and the state of the economy is now showing its true colours. We were able to help 450 families this year compared to 327 last year. Thank you for helping us make a difference. I would just like express my thanks to all of you who helped out in this year's Toy & Food Drive. As you have read, we have helped more famillies than last year's drive. 	Thank You I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who participated in the recent fundraiser held by the AMHA for the Henderson family. To all those who donated their time to make the collections and to all those who donated money the Association is deeply grateful. Thousands of dollars were raised to help Carol and the boys get their lives restarted. We are very proud to be members of this hockey community. The response to one of our families in need was truly remarkable, not only from Ajax, but also from Oshawa and Pickering. 	Registration for 2009-2010 Registration for this season is now closed. Registration for the 2010/2011 season will begin in mid March.
