AMHA Registration Policies
Player Acceptance
- Players will not be considered accepted until full payment is received and any balance from previous seasons is settled.
- Registration will open in March and will be on a first come first serve basis.
- Players registering in a division that has become full may add their name to a wait list and will be contacted by the registrar on a first come basis, if space becomes available.
- Players must be registered in their age appropriate divisions. No player will be allowed to register above or below their appropriate division unless special circumstances exist and the approval of the AMHA Board of Director has been granted. (Contact Registrar)
- Players must be current residents of the Town of Ajax. Non-residents must be approved by the AMHA Board of Directors. (Contact Registrar)
- Players attending Rep Tryouts MUST be registered online with AMHA prior to tryout registration.(April 10/11). No exceptions
Payment
- Payment may be made by credit card (Mastercard/Visa) or cheque/money order (made payable to AMHA). No Cash will be accepted.
- Payment is due at the time of registration.
- Payment by cheque may be made in two installments. The first installment, for 1/2 of the invoice amount is due at time of registration, and the second installment must be post dated for Sept 1, 2010. Both cheques must be received within 10 days.
- Alternate payment options may be requested if required. (Contact Registrar)
- The deadline for "Early Registration" is June 30th, 2010.. All registrations received July 1, 2010 or later, will be subject to an increase of $50 per player. No exceptions
Refunds
- Refunds will be allowed up to Dec 1st on a prorated basis. No refunds will be issued after Dec 1st.
- Refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee
- Request for refund is to be sent to registration@ajaxminorhockey.org. They must include the players name, date of birth, reason for withdrawal and the name and address where the refund is to be sent.
- All refunds are subject to approval and will be issued by the Treasurer.
- Refunds will be issued by cheque only.
Returned Cheques
- Returned cheques are subject to a $25 administration fee
- Returned cheques will result in player suspension until full payment has been received and cleared, by the Registrar.
- Returned cheques void registration and may result in a player losing his/her space.

For New Members
Any player who is new to Ajax Minor Hockey or any other Association must send an email to registration@ajaxminorhockey.org. You must include the name of the player, their date of birth, home address and telephone number. You will receive an email back with a Hockey Canada ID which is necessary to complete your registration. If you have ever been registered with another Association you must email amha@bellnet.ca or call 905-683-8281 to initiate a transfer.

| These fees will apply to all registrations received by June 30, 2010. All fees will increase by $50 per player on July 1, 2010.
* Timbits is a skills development program, for participants ages 3 and 4 years old. It is open to participants of all skill levels; no previous skating or hockey skills are required. The program runs on Saturday mornings for 1 hour, at the Ajax Community Centre. Full equipment is required (see website under “mandatory equipment” for complete list).
Participants will be contacted, via phone call or email ,the week prior to program start date with details of times and locations.
Registration is open to residents of Pickering also.
